Wimborne chef Colm McKavanagh is teaming up with award-winning Salamander Cookshop for this year’s Wimborne Food Festival on Saturday 19^th September, bringing practical Spanish-inspired cooking ideas, local produce and exclusive festival promotions to foodie lovers.

Visitors to Wimborne Food Festival on Saturday 19^th September can meet Pete Miles, owner of Dorset Oysters, when he takes to the Dacombes of Wimborne Food Theatre Marquee on Willow Walk near Waitrose.

Calling all chocolate lovers, star bakers and kitchen creatives, Wimborne Food Festival and Wimborne Minster Council is inviting the community to rise to the challenge in its Chocolate Cake Competition, taking place on Saturday 19 September.

Celebrated chef Cristina Cavalleri, owner of LovItaly Deli and Restaurant in Wimborne and Ringwood, will bring a taste of Sardinia to this year’s Wimborne Food Festival with a live cookery demonstration, inspired by cherished family recipes and authentic Italian cooking.

Renoufs, the award-winning cheese and wine bar loved across Dorset and Hampshire, will be joining this year’s Wimborne Food Festival on Saturday 19th September, with a live food talk and demonstration.

Maggie, a retired nurse and midwife, who captured the nation’s hearts on the 2021 series of the hit TV show, will be sharing behind‑the‑scenes stories from her time in the famous Bake Off tent.

Wimborne Food Festival is delighted to announce that acclaimed Dorset chef Colin Nash will be a headliner at the 2026 event, leading a live cookery demonstration in the Festival Food Theatre Marquee on Willow Walk near Waitrose.
