Security Information

The safety and security of our visitors, traders, volunteers and staff is a priority at Wimborne Food Festival.

Security measures will be in place throughout the event, including bag searches where considered necessary. Please cooperate with any requests from festival staff or security personnel. 

We encourage everyone to remain vigilant. If you see anything suspicious, unattended, or concerning, please report it immediately to a member of staff, security personnel, or a police officer.

FAQ

  • Wimborne Food Festival takes place on Saturday 19th September 2026, 10am - 4pm.

    The main site for the festival is at Willow Walk (behind Waitrose) where there will be a live demonstration tent and food stalls.

    There will be events taking place throughout the town.

  • Yes! Entry to the festival is free.

  • There are a number of car-parks in Wimborne.

    Nearest to the main food festival sites are:

    • Waitrose multi-storey offering two hours parking free of charge but please note you cannot return after your two hours

    • Co-op car park

    There are long-stay car-parks located at:

    • Kings Street

    • Westfield Close Car Park

    • Allenview Road

    • High Street car park

    • Pye Corner car park at Julian’s Bridge

  • Well-behaved dogs are very welcome at the main festival site on Willow Walk and around town. Wimborne is a very dog-friendly town, but check with individual venues you want to visit, as they may have their own policies.

    And of course, please remember to clean up after your four-legged friends!

  • Bring your own reusable Festival Cup, KeepCup for the day and save on single-use plastic.

    The programme map will show you all the places in town to refill your water bottle for free.
