Renoufs, the award-winning cheese and wine bar loved across Dorset and Hampshire, will be joining this year’s Wimborne Food Festival on Saturday 19th September, with a live food talk and demonstration led by Front of House Manager, Sali Pike, and Supervisor, Ellie Snook, from the Renoufs Wimborne team.
‘How to Create the Perfect Cheese and Charcuterie Sharing Board’ will take place in the festival’s Food Theatre Marquee at Willow Walk near Waitrose, offering festival-goers an inspiring, behind-the-scenes look at how Renoufs crafts its beautifully balanced grazing boards.
Known for its warm hospitality, exceptional cheeses and curated wine flights, Renoufs has become a go-to destination for relaxed dining, pre-theatre evenings, celebrations and sharing-style feasts.
With over 190 cheeses in rotation across the business, the team will explain how they refine this vast selection down to around a choice of 20 different cheeses each week for their Wimborne menu, ensuring every board is perfectly paired with meats and wines.
During the talk, Sali and Ellie will guide audiences through:
Balancing a sharing board — which cheeses pair best with which meats and wines
Design and presentation tips, including Ellie’s signature twists, folds and decorative touches
How to elevate a board with textures, colours and complementary flavours
Vegetarian and vegan board ideas
Sweet pairings to finish a grazing experience
The story of Renoufs and how sharing food brings people together
Renoufs will also highlight how their boards work beautifully year-round, from summer picnics to festive gatherings and why charcuterie and cheese remain the ultimate crowd-pleasing food for parties, date nights and family get-togethers.
Wimborne Food Festival, now in its third year and organised by Wimborne BID with support from Dacombes of Wimborne, brings together local producers, chefs, restaurants and retailers for a full day of tastings, demos and delicious discoveries around the town.
Fiona Pawsey, Chair of Wimborne BID said; “Renoufs’ involvement adds another flavour-packed highlight to an already vibrant programme celebrating Wimborne’s brilliant food and drink businesses and the best Dorset producers.”
